At some places there are water sports schools with national and international championships throughout the summer.
Less crowded beaches with a few umbrellas and trees for shade, and a couple of tavernas to dine. They may be laid with fine or thicker sand, rounded pebbles or small stones. The usual crowd here is small groups who like a quiet swim.
